Located at the Orlando International Airport, this quick-service restaurant for a pizzeria and healthy conscious food is located at the newly constructed Terminal C. The Architect worked closely during the design with the brand and airport authorities to ensure design intent was met, but also to verify that the design was compliant with airport guidelines.
The Project Manager job responsibilities included managing the design and deliverables process with client, brand and airport authorities to ensure project was permitted on time and construction was completed on schedule and on budget. The pizzeria as part of this project required for additional steel underneath the slab and a remote grease duct exhaust location, which required the close coordination of engineers, AHJ and airport authorities for approvals.
